2. That’s one way to quiet someone down
Some people are nurturers while others aren’t. Fans of The Walking Dead got to see the softer side of Alpha when she sang songs and played checkers with Lydia, but she definitely wasn’t as gentle with other folks.
When in the basement of what looked to be a hospital of sorts, one of the survivors named Matias waiting out the early stages of the outbreak went into a panic. Unable to control himself, Alpha took it upon herself to silence him.
Rather than nurture him with calming words, a warm embrace, and songs like she did with Lydia, she placed her forearm on his throat and her hand over his mouth. She watched as his body went limp and the life went out of his eyes.
The cold, emotionless way she did this to Matias shows just a small amount of what Alpha is capable of and the kind of things the survivors at the Hilltop should fear.
