5. Well…Hello there!
Lydia had told Daryl and Henry that Alpha wouldn’t be coming for her. Apparently, the mantra of the Whisperers is that anyone who gets caught or compromises themselves is no longer of value to the group and is no longer welcome.
However, there appear to be exceptions to this rule. At the end of the episode, Alpha arrived at the gates of the Hilltop with a number of her traveling companions, addressing the group in hopes of making a deal to get her daughter back.
It turns out that the conditioning done by Alpha hid the fact that she would give her won flesh and blood preferential treatment in situations, which was surprising to everyone after hearing how Lydia spoke about her mother in the cell.
An even bigger question is what the group will do now that Alpha is standing at their gate. Will the Hilltop give Lydia back knowing some of the things done to her or will they refuse and see what evils Alpha has in store for the Hilltop? It shouldn’t take long to find out the answer to that question.
Not to mention how intimidating and disturbing Alpha’s face looked when confronting the Hilltop!
