1. Silence the crying

There have been some messed up things from villains on this show, but the three episodes Alpha has appeared in have already painted her as being one of the coldest, darkest characters the show has ever given fans.

Knowing the way she treats her own family yet would be willing to go to Alexandria to get her daughter back, there were hopes that there was a warm part of her heart. However, any thoughts of that went away with how she dealt with the crying baby in her group.

Since the parent couldn’t quiet the child, Alpha ordered her to place the child on the ground to let the undead silence the baby. Not only is this a sacrifice of the child for her own kid, but it shows how little the lives of her followers mean.

Thankfully, Connie didn’t let the child be eaten by the undead. With a quick walker kill and swoop of the baby, she retreated into the cornfield and brought the child into the Hilltop, where Tammy and Earl now seem to be willing to become the baby’s new parents.
