The good stuff

  1. A bun in the oven! Jerry and Nabila have a little one on the way! It is excellent to see the future of the show staying bright with several little ones on the show and others on the way. Hopefully next time Jerry will be able to share the news in a more straight-forward and less confusing way.
  2. The Harvest Festival. With everything happening, it’s good to know that the show hasn’t forgotten about the fair, which will act as a trading hub for the communities to get everything they need and share the things they have extra of. But things don’t always go as planned…
  3. Self-scalping. Watching that walker crawl through the broken popcorn machine and tear the top of its head off was pretty gross. Plus, it was a nice diversion from everything else happening in the episode. The undead feel no pain, but watching that scene made my head hurt!
  4. The children of the corn. Connie running through the cornfield filled with sorghum with the crying baby the Whisperers were going to sacrifice was terrifying, yet an interesting look into how fighting walkers when deaf can be even more challenging than it is for those with all their senses.
  5. Carl’s warmness lives on. Hearing Enid talking to Henry about the lessons she learned from Carl was difficult to hear but exactly what Henry and Lydia needed to hear. Plus, knowing that Carl’s legacy lives on so many years after his death is reassuring since he still has a lot of fans from the show.
