The bad things

  1. Making us wait. Kicking things off with the Kingdom in a flashback considering the way last week’s episode ended is a bit like torture. I love the King and Carol as much as everyone else, but knowing what happens at the Hilltop with Alpha and the Whisperers is truly scary.
  2. Being a little extravagant. Repairing a projector with a new bulb with how dangerous everything is near the theatre seems like a very dangerous thing to do. Despite the plan and capable group, risking lives to get a bulb is a bit unnecessary, even though the reward would be quite sweet.
  3. Henry is at it again. Being willing to risk the life of Alden and Luke to run away with Lydia might be the most foolish thing Henry has done on the show. He also knows how dangerous the Whisperers are. All of this adds up to a horrible situation
  4. “If the mother can’t quiet the child, the dead will.” Holy cow. Such a cold response to a child! A crying baby is a magnet for walkers, but being unwilling to let her take her child away from the horde and instead just set it down to get eaten was one of the most brutal things yet. And it seems like Earl and Tammy from the Hilltop got a free baby out of the trade.
  5. Lydia is back with Alpha. As if knowingly giving her back to a group that abuses her isn’t enough, Alpha made sure to slap the taste out of her daughter’s mouth for calling her “mom” instead of “Alpha”. There is no doubt that Daryl and many from the Hilltop are not going to be pleased with this arrangement…especially considering everything Lydia knows.
  6. Henry chasing after love. While it’s understandable that Henry wants Lydia back, leaving alone and forcing others to follow after him. Sure, he’s going to have Daryl and Connie out looking for him, but he could have organized things much better and been less emotional in his response.
