The interesting stuff

  1. Jesus in a flashback. I know this is going to sound cold, but a flashback showing Jesus when the Kingdom preparing to sign a charter between the communities is a bit hard to watch. I feel like I had finally accepted that he was gone and here he pops up again.
  2. “It’s all going to work out.” Those are never good words to hear from anyone on this show, especially when it comes from King Ezekiel. If this a bad omen for the leader of the Kingdom or is he speaking words of truth? Now seems like a good time to get nervous.
  3. Wait…what? So, this week featured a mid-commercial break showing Daryl and Dog with a note saying the show would be back in a minute. With people already joking about the frequency of commercials on the show, I’m sure this isn’t going to help very much.
  4. Oopsie. The likelihood of Jerry dropping the projector bulb into the small hole where the light goes isn’t very high, but it did give the show an opportunity to expand on a scene and make another tough decision on what to do. At least it was bubble wrapped first, right?
  5. Interesting music choice. A fight scene set to the sound of “It’s All Right Now” by Eddie Harris definitely didn’t seem like something fans would ever see, but it somehow kind of worked. It turns out the awkward combination made for a fun scene.
  6. TWD Rewards. This week, the code “DEADORALIVE” will get you 200 points for watching The Walking Dead. You also get 200 points each for the Talking Dead code “BOOMBOX” and Ride with Normal Reedus code “BIKERCAROL”. If you’re not signed up, do so RIGHT HERE!
