The Walking Dead: Our panel makes predictions about 912

It looks like The Walking Dead 912 is going to be quite an episode. Our panel has some thoughts on what might happen when Henry meets the Whisperers.

The Walking Dead episode 912 Guardians should be a very tense episode. Henry has gone out on his own after Lydia and the Whisperers and now Daryl and Connie are searching for Henry. In the previews and teasers for episode 912 Henry is shown with Beta, Alpha’s terrifying second in command played by Ryan Hurst.

It looks like there will be more backstory about the complicated relationship between Lydia and Alpha revealed in this episode and if the show continues to follow the comic there will be some epic scenes at the Whisperer camp. See the preview for episode 912 here:

It’s hard to imagine that things could get more intense than the Whisperer mother abandoning her baby and Connie’s desperate rescue of the infant from last week’s episode. But it looks like that was just a preview of the power that Alpha has. Also this week will introduce Beta, who is just as terrifying as Alpha in his own way. Together these two are a force to be reckoned with, and they have an entire army of Whisperers and the undead to back them up.

Henry’s immature attempt to rescue Lydia could end up getting him killed or it could start a war with the Whisperers. Alpha stuck by her word to leave peacefully after Lydia was given back to her but with Henry’s act of aggression Alpha won’t risk being seen as weak by the others and she will almost certainly attack either the Hilltop or the Kingdom, or both. Predictions For 912

In the preview for next week Beta is finally revealed and it looks like Henry gets taken to or finds the Whisperers camp. What are your predictions for what will happen in 912 “Guardians”?

Sonya says:

"I don’t think Henry will get killed, but I don’t think this “rescue” is going to go the way he thinks it will either. Henry is shockingly naïve for someone who grew up in that world and he will find out fast that the Whisperers are not to be messed with and that he’s not nearly as prepared for battle as he thinks he is. I am scared and excited to meet Beta and to see the Whisperer camp. I hope that we also see what happens to Negan back at Alexandria and some scenes from the other communities."

Sara says:

"I’m so excited to finally see Beta! I’m really nervous to see what happens to Henry, it honestly doesn’t look good. It will be interesting to see if Lydia can convince her mother not to harm Henry if he is caught."

Jeffrey says:

"I’m really excited to finally be meeting Beta, specifically in seeing how he interacts with Alpha. I hope we get to learn more about how the Whisperers operate when they’re not in an active standoff with adversaries. Hopefully, we get to see them in their natural habitat. It looks as though Henry will try to spy on the Whisperers’ camp and end up captured by Beta. That will surely be a showdown to witness. Also, I’m glad we will be checking in with Alexandria, because I’m dying to see how everyone reacts to Negan being back."
