Thankfully, AMC released a video showing a scene from episode 913 on their official YouTube channel to get fans excited. Here is that video:
The video kicks off with King Ezekiel reading a letter while at the Kingdom with the symbol from the back of the road sign on it. It is from “Highwaymen” who claim the roads surrounding the Kingdom belong to them and a toll must be paid to use their roads for the upcoming fair. Included in the note are items the group wants in return for passage to the fair as well as instructions on how to deliver them.
Jerry says their group must have heard him talking about the fair and apologizes. Ezekiel says the fair is common knowledge and it needs to happen because they need food and supplies. Plus, they couldn’t afford to pay the “Highwaymen” if they wanted to.
Dianne says a group of renegades formerly with the Saviors led by Jed was in the area and it could be them. Carol is quick to add that it wasn’t them. Ezekiel says that Saviors don’t write letters, but Carol knows it isn’t them because she killed them all.
The question shifts to how to secure the roads for guests of the fair. After a moment of deliberation, Ezekiel decides to gather every fighter they can spare to confront this group.
