2. Father knows best

It’s pretty crazy how far Father Gabriel has come since his introduction in the series. A timid, scared, and selfish man locked in his church alone while others around him die seems like forever ago for the man of the cloth.

Gabriel truly stepped up when talking with Michonne, reminding her that the council is put in place to make decisions together but Michonne has been overruling them all by calling them a matter of security.

His words may not have allowed Michonne to see what he was truly talking about, but with things like the fair on the way and each community having its own needs, it is time to put the division of leaders in the past and move forward.

While we still don’t really know what happened to cause the massive divide Alexandria made between them and the Hilltop and the Kingdom, it’s good to know that there are people like Gabriel there to be the checks and balances in their leadership system.
