The Walking Dead continues with season 9 episode 13, “Chokepoint.” Here’s your synopsis of the all-new episode airing March 10, 2019.

Every action has consequences, and that’s possibly more true in the middle of an apocalypse than anywhere else. Daryl and Connie rescued Henry and Lydia in The Walking Dead “Guardians” but that will cost them. This week’s all-new episode features the repercussions of those actions, and the price could be higher than anyone intended.

Meanwhile, over at the Kingdom the preparations for the fair are underway. The excitement is building, but an unexpected disruption comes along that could cause some trouble to people trying to attend. A group of people called the Highwaymen were mentioned in the sneak peek and in the scene they’re kind of like the troll who guards the bridge in Three Billy Goats Gruff. They’ve declared that the roads to the Kingdom belong to them, and they expect a toll from anyone hoping to pass.

Here’s the episode description of The Walking Dead “Guardians” from AMC:

“Daryl’s daring rescue mission forces Alpha to unleash a group of her own to retrieve what belongs to her, even if the price is paid in blood. The Kingdom’s plans to reunite the communities is put in jeopardy.”

Alpha isn’t going to let Daryl get away with what happened in the Whisperers’ camp, nor will she forget that her daughter escaped. This is only going to cause trouble from here on out, and Alpha isn’t playing games.

After “Chokepoint” there are only three episodes left in the season. It’s hard to believe season 9 went by so fast, but even so there’s plenty of time for things to fall apart.
