The interesting stuff from TWD 913

  1. Jed’s group isn’t a worry. Carol didn’t say it, but when she wiped out that group of former Saviors it ended any real threat from him or his group. This means the Highwaymen have to be something different and interesting to stand out…and to stand out when compared to Alpha and Beta is a huge challenge.
  2. Oooh, she wrote it! It’s always funny when the title of a movie, show, or episode is said in a show. This time, Connie wrote the word “Chokepoint” on her pad, which gave me a total Family Guy moment of pointing at the screen!
  3. It’s movie time. It’s weird to think that a creature comfort like watching a movie would be such a significant bargaining chip during a standoff, but Carol’s genius plan of adding that to the list of perks for protecting the highway instead of putting a toll on it. Their expression said it all.
  4. Dog looking after Lydia. She may not be physically strong or tactically sound, but locking her in a closet with a dog to keep her safe was a bit amusing. We know that Dog can fight and he has done a great job in the past, but it’s still a bit of an interesting situation.
  5. TWD Rewards. Once again, 200 points can be earned by entering codes. The Walking Dead‘s code is “BETA” while Talking Dead‘s is “CHOKEPOINT” and the one during Ride with Norman Reedus is “GLENNRIDES”. If you’re not signed up, you can do so RIGHT HERE!
