Overall impression of TWD 913

Fans who have been missing action scenes on the show got a treat this week. From small-scale fights with one-on-one battles to survivors taking on groups of walkers, there was something for all fans of action in this episode.

Even more so, there were glimpses of characterization and plot advancement as well. Henry and Lydia’s relationship took another step while Daryl and Connie disagreed over what to do with Lydia after fighting with the Whisperers.

This week’s episode offers a lot of rewatchability with a shift in focus, a nice variety of characters being offered, and a blend of action and story shifts. Fans of Daryl as well Carol will absolutely love this episode and it’s good to see those two individuals get a nice chunk of screen time in “Chokepoint”.

As a whole, this episode should become one of the most popular of the last three seasons, drawing a lot of attention for great performance in stunts for the fights as well as some excellent acting from the cast.

EPISODE GRADE: 8.9/10
