It’s time for The Walking Dead fans Down Under to start making preparations for Walker Stalker Con to make a return to Australia in 2020.

The folks at Walker Stalker Con have some big news coming for fans of The Walking Dead universe in Australia: Walker Stalker Con is returning to Oz in 2020. The popular fan convention will release dates for the events in Sydney and Melbourne on March 31, as soon as Walker Stalker Con London wraps up at the end of the month.

Though there are pop culture conventions all over the world these days it’s not often that entire casts of popular movies or television shows, or at least several members of the cast, can show up in the same place at the same time. It’s also not always possible for fans in faraway places to fly halfway across the world to show up at big name conventions like San Diego Comic Con or New York Comic Con.

Thanks to Walker Stalker Con, fans of The Walking Dead are able to see large groups of the cast in places like Germany and London, and now the convention is returning to Australia with two weekend events planned in 2020.

The dates of the two events will be released following Walker Stalker London, which takes place March 30-31.

There’s no question that The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead has a worldwide following, and there are legions of fans Down Under. It helps that stars like Alycia Debnam-Carey (a Sydney native) represent Australia onscreen, so having a chance to see the cast and the stars at home is a big deal.

Given that Walker Stalker Con doesn’t travel to Australia regularly, there’s no question that tickets for the two weekends will sell quickly. We’ll be sure to keep Aussie fans updated as dates and guests are announced.
