The Walking Dead continues with season 9 with episode 14, “Scars.” Here’s your synopsis of the all-new episode airing March 17, 2019.

This week’s all-new episode of The Walking Dead is sure to tug on heartstrings as fans follow Michonne’s journey back to the early days of the six-year time jump. Based on the episode’s title, “Scars”, it looks like it’s time to find out more about the mysterious X scars on Michonne and Daryl’s backs.

Michonne has been very distant in the post-time jump setting. It has been challenging for fans to see the pain in her eyes. She wants Alexandria to be safe, even if that means distancing herself from the Council and her friends. Naturally, she’s concerned for the community and her children, but it seems like there is so much more to the story and in “Scars” we might get the reasoning behind her actions.

Here’s the episode description of The Walking Dead “Scars” from AMC:

“An outsider’s arrival forces Alexandria to rehash devastating old wounds; eye-opening secrets from the past are revealed.”

Based on previews of the episode, Daryl brings his group to Alexandria to hide while they figure out their next moves. Michonne and Lydia have a heart to heart talk, and that seems to trigger some memories.

Whatever happened in those six years was enough to split the communities apart despite the joyous occasion of RJ’s birth. That’s part of the mystery, too, because it stands to reason that knowing Michonne was pregnant would bring everyone together. “Scars” has the potential to be the biggest episode of the season, and that’s saying a lot given how much has happened in season 9.
