Our panelists share their predictions for The Walking Dead 914 Scars

Judging by the trailers and teasers The Walking Dead 914 is going to be an emotional episode. Here’s what our panelists think will be revealed.

The Walking Dead looks like it will deliver an episode that will give fans a break from the horror of the Whisperers this week. But, that episode is sure to be an emotionally difficult episode to deal with because it’s going to flashback to some of what happened during the six year time jump after Rick disappeared.

In this preview for The Walking Dead 914 Daryl and Judith are talking about what will happen to Lydia and Judith references Rick, which brings all those feelings about Andrew Lincoln leaving the show to the surface. It’s a sad but poignant reminder that even though things move forward and the show moves forward the legacy of Rick Grimes remains.

But that bittersweet moment looks like it will be one of the lighter moments in a heavy episode that will show the immediate aftermath of Rick’s disappearance and how Michonne, Daryl, and the rest of the survivors processed losing Rick.

This episode will also reveal what happened to Daryl and Michonne to leave them with those X shaped scars and it will possibly reveal what happened between Michonne and Maggie as well. Fans have been waiting for answers about what could possibly have broken the connection that the original survivors had to each other and now they’re going to find out. What’s Coming Up On The Walking Dead This Week

It looks like we will finally get to see more of what happened during the time jump in 914 “Scars” – what do you think we will see in this episode?

Sonya says:

"I think we’re all going to cry, a lot. I don’t have a clue what could have hurt Daryl and Michonne, two of the apocalypse’s best fighters. But seeing how whatever happened changed Michonne I know it’s going to be heartbreaking."

Sara says:

"I’m really nervous for this episode just as much as I am intrigued. I really want to find out what happened to Michonne and Daryl and how they got those awful scars on their backs. I fear that it must be something really bad. This will definitely explain why Michonne was opposed to allowing any new people to live inside Alexandria."

Jeffrey says:

"I have a feeling that 914 is going to be a difficult episode as we learn what caused the split between our survivors. I hope we actually get solid answers about what happened, and also why Daryl and Michonne have the scars on their backs. I have always loved the friendship between Daryl and Michonne, so I’m really hoping to see some great material between them both in the flashbacks and present time. This episode has the opportunity to be one of the great defining episodes of the season and series as a whole, so I’m both nervous and excited to see what it has to offer!"

Sarabeth says:

"We’re two episodes away from the season finale and it’s clear that Michonne has been through some kind of trauma to get to the point she’s at. I want to know what happened, and I’m hoping that’s what we get in 914."
