1. That’s cold, Michonne!
What is the best way for Michonne to welcome Lydia into the community while Henry gets fixed up? Well, it isn’t to tell her in not so few words to get out of Alexandria and leave her new friends as well as love interest alone if she knows what’s best for her.
Imagine what that is like for Lydia. The girl got her identity stripped away by Alpha and had to live like animals with human flesh on her face in order to survive. I think she could be cut a little bit of a break when it comes to kicking up her feet and relaxing for a few hours without getting a lecture.
The episode did reveal why Michonne said what she did, but hopefully, those comments don’t leave a lasting impact on Lydia to make her feel like she isn’t worthy of living with people in “normal” communities.
Still, those comments could not only create a rift between her and Michonne but also might cause trouble with Henry and Daryl. It was already shown that Judith disagreed with her stance, and believes helping people who need it takes priority over succumbing to fear.
