2. The first cut is the deepest

There were some moments that should have caused a loud gasp from viewers as they watched this week’s episode, but the one that made me actually say “WTF” at the TV screen came when MIchonne was confronted by a kid with a sword.

In the flashback, a pregnant Michonne was attempting to escape from Joscelyn after being captured, branded, and marked for death. After they got free from their ropes, she and Daryl went their separate ways…only for Michonne to run right into her captors.

Joscelyn directed her children to attack Michonne, with wasn’t all that scary until one kid with a sword took a swipe at her pregnant belly, cutting her open a small amount with blood coming from the wound.

Thank goodness that cut wasn’t deeper and fatally wounded Michonne or her unborn child. That scene did provide viewers with a really good scare and changed the tone of the showdown between Michonne and her enemies.
