5. Somebody’s watching me
The Whisperers might not have high tech devices or even a standard base of operations, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have eyes in important places and a system of assessing a situation before acting upon it.
Some members of Alpha’s group are going to report back to their leader about not only the location of the Kingdom but the planning of the fair. This means they will know about the Hilltop and the Kingdom…and they might even know about Alexandria if they were keeping an eye on Daryl’s group from Henry’s rescue.
This sets the stage for the Whisperers to make quite the scene when they decide what to do with their new information. It is terrifying to think about what the possibilities might be for the survivors when (or if) Alpha strikes.
The idea that the fair will go off without a hitch seems impossible now. But with the combined power of the Kingdom, Hilltop, and Alexandria (and maybe Oceanside), there is a good chance they could fight back enough to keep themselves safe…that is if they can be prepared.
