Now the Hilltop has lost another leader. Tara entered the show back in season 4, which makes her one of the longest survivors on the show. Tara has spent a lot of time in the background and it looked like she was finally going to get a chance to shine being the new leader of Hilltop after the death of Jesus. But, Alpha had other plans.

Tara started off on the wrong side of the conflict between the Governor and Rick’s survivor group at the prison but Glenn made the decision to save her when he made his way out of the prison after the attack and found her in a bad situation. That decision made Tara part of the group and she’s been a loyal and dedicated member of every community she’s been in. It will be a big loss to The Walking Dead world to lose Tara.

Without Tara Rick and the others wouldn’t have found Oceanside and they would have lost All Out War without Oceanside’s fighters and their guns. Tara has been the voice of reason and a friend to all even when she wasn’t in the spotlight very much. She loved her community and her friends and was willing to do whatever she could do in order to keep them safe. Now she can be with her sister, her niece, and Denise again. RIP Tara, we didn’t get to know you as well as we wanted to but you we loved you.
