Sneak peek of The Walking Dead 916: Carol and Daryl talk about Lydia
By Adam Carlson
Carol and Daryl discuss Lydia in the sneak peek video for season 9 episode 16 of AMC’s The Walking Dead titled “The Storm” airing on Mar. 31, 2019.
Where does The Walking Dead go from here? With the shocking and painful events from episode 915, the question of what the show has planned for the season 9 finale of the show has to be on the minds of fans everywhere.
Thankfully, AMC is once again on the ball and has shared a scene from the Mar. 24, 2019 episode titled “The Storm” to get fans thinking about next week and get their minds off the devastation of the previous episode.
Take a look at a scene from the season 9 episode 15 of The Walking Dead as shared on the official YouTube channel of AMC:
The scene kicks off with Carol and Daryl walking together, all bundled up since it is winter and there is snow on the ground. The silence is broken when Daryl says Lydia is there because Henry wanted her there when nobody else did and follows that up by saying she’s a good kid.
Carol is reminded of Henry every time she looks at Lydia. Daryl asks her what she sees when she looks at him and the reply is that she sees him…with no elaboration.
On horses, Jerry tells Ezekiel that a big storm is coming. The King says they will need to travel through the night if they are to make it to the next way station before the snow falls as the scene fades to black.
It’s great to see winter is arriving on the show and to see the show in a bit of a different setting should be interesting. Add in the threat of the Whisperers and the tragedy the group suffered and you’ve got the makings of what could be another powerful episode of the show.
