The bad things from TWD 916

  1. The Kingdom has fallen. It was only a matter of time before the Kingdom was no longer an option for habitation. Pipes bursting, fires starting, and harsh weather made staying there impossible and the doors to the community were closed for good as the survivors from that community look for another place to hang their hats.
  2. Pushing blame on Lydia. Losing Enid must be tough for Alden considering they had just defined their relationship. Blaming her for what the Whisperers did to the other survivors isn’t right considering she isn’t like them. And Lydia is likely feeling bad enough for what happened as it is.
  3. Asking Daryl not to come to the Hilltop. King Ezekiel has been losing everything special to him and being jealous of the relationship between Carol and Daryl isn’t going to help anything…neither is asking Daryl to not live at the same place as them. He needs to focus on Carol and her needs.
  4. Carol is losing it. With how many kids and friends Carol has lost along the way and the recent murder of Henry, it’s hard to believe that she is still mentally stable enough to express her feelings. But now is the time when she needs support from her friends, not a division between those she loves.
  5. Crossing over. Alpha was pretty clear about what would happen if the survivors crossed the border. Yet, the group from the Kingdom took that route to shave miles off their journey to the Hilltop. This threat should have been taken more seriously, especially after the display of power from Alpha.
  6. The breakup. It’s heartbreaking to see the King and Queen go their separate ways, but sometimes things like that just need to happen. Both those individuals have a lot they need to deal with and maybe they’ll come back together in the future, but this is a bit of a kick in the gut.
