Lydia walks deeper into the woods, away from the road.  There’s a walker stuck in a frozen pond. In a moment that resembles Lizzie at the prison, Lydia bends down and leans close to the walkers. She pulls her glove off, exposing her bare skin. She holds her wrist out, getting close enough for it to bite her. That’s when Carol shows up. Carol watches what she’s doing, realizing that the girl is about to kill herself. They say nothing.

Eventually, Carol and Lydia meet back up with the rest of the group on the road. There’s no way they can beat the storm, so Michonne proposes that they head to shelter. That shelter, as it happens, is the Sanctuary.

Magna can’t believe people actually lived in such a dump. “Welcome to the Sanctuary,” Michonne says.

The snow has hit Alexandria. Rosita is chaining Negan to the bed while he marvels at the blessing of having a “love quadrangle” to keep him entertained. When he swears, Judith tells him to watch his language. Negan pokes Gabriel about Rosita and her “baby Daddy” also being her doctor. Gabriel tries to play it off, telling him that he’s being too predictable.

Siddiq tells Judith to stay away from the window. Negan sees Judith worrying and she says she can’t find Dog. Daryl left her in charge and she lost him. Negan looks concerned for her when he suddenly smells something. Eugene manages to pull Siddiq and Gabriel away from the fireplace in time to keep them from blowing up. The chimney is blocked and they won’t be able to use it. While Eugene explains the situation, Negan notes that he missed him so much. They watch as Judith bundles RJ in blankets. They have to get out of there, so Gabriel announces that they’re going to Aaron’s house. They walk past Negan, who can’t believe they weren’t going to until him. “We could tell Michonne it was an accident,” Rosita says. They tie each other together and open the door to the blizzard.
