Hilde and Miles
- Played by: Caroline Duncan and Brian Sheppard
- Introduced: Episode 915 “The Calm Before”
- Died: Episode 915 “The Calm Before”
- Killed by: Alpha and the Whisperers
The way the story of Hilde and Miles started out was adorable. In a flashback, they were a couple out celebrating an anniversary and exchanging gifts in a loving fashion…and stumbling upon the Hilltop.
Heading to the fair, Hilde and Miles had a large stash of her crafted “coins” with a big letter H in hopes of trading them for some goods. However, they would never arrive at the Kingdom to partake in the festivities.
The duo would be intercepted on their way there and killed by Alpha and the Whisperers. Even worse, Hilde would be scalped for her hair and then Alpha would wear it on her head to infiltrate the fair as “Debbie” from Alexandria.
Meanwhile, MIles had his face taken off and used to make a new mask for the Whisperers. No matter how you look at it, these two survivors definitely faced a grim end for a couple that fans were starting to root for.
