Tara Chambler

Introduced as a cold survivor who was skeptical about The Governor, time revealed that Tara was actually a fun loving character who is a good judge of character and bonded with Glenn, Maggie, Rosita, and others to be a valuable part of the group.
She was also a cheerleader for the other survivors, encouraging them to do things they didn’t think they could go or provide options which might not have been thought of as being possible alternatives to direct conflict.
Tara’s loyalty and hard work made her one of the most trusted and liked people at the Hilltop. Working under Jesus, she inherited the job of the community’s leader after the Whisperers killed him in the graveyard.
Her leadership wouldn’t last long. With Alpha and the Whisperers killing Tara and putting her head on a pike to form the northern border, the Hilltop is once again forced to look for a new leader, the fifth since the Hilltop was introduced.
