Henry

• Introduced: Episode 702 “The Well”
• Died: Episode 915 “The Calm Before”
• Killed by: Alpha and the Whisperers

Losing his parents and his brother, Henry was taken in by King Ezekiel and Carol at the Kingdom where he would train with Morgan Jones and do his best to fix up the community and protect those he cares about. Carol made Daryl promise to look after him, as the two trusted each other fully.

Henry went to the Hilltop to learn about blacksmithing and check in on his crush, Enid. Learning Enid was now with Alden, he quickly developed a crush on his fellow cellmate Lydia who was captured by the Whisperers.

After trading Lydia back to the Whisperers for Alden and Luke, Henry went after the girl he had grown feelings for in hopes he could bring her back to safety and take her away from her abusive mother, Alpha.

The Whisperers would be his final demise, as he was captured along with others and beheaded to form the row of pikes at the northern border of Alpha’s territory. Carol was crushed and consoled by Daryl when she saw her the head of her “son”.

These losses were just the ones that happened on the screen. Many other unnamed characters and walkers were killed off the screen. However, these losses show just how powerful season 9 of The Walking Dead was.
