Arat

Oceanside hadn’t forgotten what the Saviors did to their community. Killing all the men and older males from their community and forcing them to leave their settlement and move out to the middle of nowhere.
Among those included in the slaughter was Arat, who was stuck in the memory of Cyndie and the others for the words she said when executing the males. Those words also rang through the head of Maggie, who caught Oceanside in the act and decided to allow the murder.
One of Negan’s lieutenants, it’s no surprise that Arat would echo the sentiments of the leader of the Saviors. However, this act was one apparently led by Simon and fans knew how brutal he could be from his unauthorized actions with the Scavengers.
Still, Oceanside breaking Rick’s rules and getting revenge seemed genuine and they were lucky enough to have Maggie find them instead of someone else who may not have let them go through with killing Arat. Still, there was hope Arat could be a key survivor to fight with the survivors, but never really got the opportunity,
