Jesus

Paul Rovia, better known as “Jesus” to his friends, was a survivor from the Hilltop who was an excellent fighter who showed compassion and understanding while being willing to work hard for his community.
He was often seen going on supply runs, fighting the Saviors, training with Aaron, or being involved in the planning of things with Rick, Maggie and the others, eventually taking on the role of leader at the Hilltop when Maggie made her exit.
When going out to search for Eugene, Jesus and others found themselves trapped in a cemetery surrounded by walkers. Tactfully eliminating many of the undead, he was in a real rhythm when one of his targets ducked an attack and stabbed him in the back.
Shockingly, this was his introduction of the Whisperers, a group which wears the skin of the undead to hide among walkers. The group was able to escape, but put a knife through Jesus’ skull to prevent him from reanimating, bringing his body back to the Hilltop for burial.
