Carol

The first time I remember hearing the now iconic phrase “You’re not dead on The Walking Dead until we see a body” was back when it looked like Carol had been lost in the prison. Walkers were everywhere and her escape route was blocked. T-Dog sacrificed himself to give her a chance to escape, but for all intents and purposes it looked like she was gone, too, and it didn’t help that the group thought she was dead. However, in “Hounded” Daryl finds Carol alive and it’s a joyful reunion.

Since that time Carol has been captured and faced with many challenging situations, but she always pulls through. She’s a warrior and that’s why she’s a major fan-favorite.

Ofelia Salazar

Ofelia Salazar is the daughter of Fear the Walking Dead’s Daniel Salazar, who is the OG of resurrections. Ofelia left the resort in season 2 and disappeared from the show for a long while. In fact, her absence spanned the rest of season 2 and a large chunk of season 3 when she returned in the company of Qaletaqa Walker. Through flashbacks we learn that she almost died in the desert but was rescued by Jeremiah Otto, though she wasn’t truly saved until she met Qaletaqa.

Though Ofelia was never thought to be dead necessarily, the reality is that she managed to stay alive long enough to be reunited with the Clarks, and she almost lived long enough to see her father again.
