10 best resurrections in The Walking Dead universe
Honorable Mention: Maggie
Maggie never had a near-death experience, but when it comes to Negan and the Saviors she miraculously returned in the battle for Alexandria. Negan’s famous line, “The widow’s alive with guns ablazin’” signify the fact that she had been believed dead since the season 7 premiere, when in fact she had been quietly recovering and taking over at the Hilltop the entire time.
It wasn’t a resurrection, per se, but it was one heck of a memorable return.
Yet to Come: Madison Clark?
Remember what we said about Carol at the prison? When it comes to Fear the Walking Dead matriarch Madison Clark, it certainly looked like she died in that ballpark full of walkers and fire, but then again we never saw her die. As far as fans are concerned, perhaps she’s still out there somewhere.
If Daniel Salazar can survive so many near-death experiences, maybe she can, too.

Yet to Come: Rick Grimes
This is an easy one. Fans know what really happened to Rick Grimes after the bridge exploded. He was whisked away on a helicopter with Anne, and we won’t learn his fate until the debut of the feature films.
However, as far as Rick’s family and friends are concerned, he is dead. Daryl and Michonne, both knowing that there was no body, spent a great deal of time searching for him but never found him. There’s a sliver of hope that he’s still alive, but that sliver is getting smaller as the years pass.
