Danai Gurira is a vision at the Avengers: Endgame premiere

Danai Gurira was an absolute vision on the purple carpet at the Avengers: Endgame premiere on Monday night ahead of the film’s April 26 opening.

The Walking Dead fans already know that Danai Gurira is a Queen. From her stunning looks to her philanthropy and theatrical pursuits, this multi-talented actress has it all and Avengers: Endgame is going to catapult her stardom to a whole new level when the movie opens on April 26. Gurira was a vision on the purple carpet on Monday night at the Los Angeles premiere.

Gurira brought her A-game to the purple carpet with a stunning magenta gown from Oscar De La Renta and Jimmy Choo handbag.

Her jewelry came courtesy of David Webb Jewels, and the look was completed with Louboutin shoes. She was nothing short of stunning as she walked the carpet at the premiere.

Thanks to Thanos, Gurira’s character Okoye looks to be the last high-ranking representative from Wakanda. Okoye was a standout character in 2018’s hit Black Panther, and Gurira will be leading the way in Endgame, which paves the way for Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase Two includes a sequel to Black Panther, which means Okoye will be back.

In fact, it’s Gurira’s expanding presence in the Marvel Universe that has necessitated her departure from The Walking Dead Universe. Michonne will appear in a handful of episodes in season 10 before withdrawing from the show, but by all accounts it could be a temporary situation or it could lead to a connection to the Rick Grimes movies.

With Avengers: Endgame there is no question that Gurira’s career is about to achieve even more success. While Endgame won’t have the same critical success as Black Panther, which was the first comic book movie to earn an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.
