Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s newest film The Postcard Killings
By Renee Hansen
Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been working hard on his new film, and now he’s giving fans a look at The Postcard Killings.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s (The Walking Dead and the Supernatural) most recent instagram post shows an early look at The Postcard Killings, a movie adaptation of James Patterson & Liza Marklund’s best selling novel of the same name.
The synopsis for The Postcard Killings from IMDB is as follows: “A New York detective investigates the death of his daughter who was murdered while on her honeymoon in London; he recruits the help of a Scandinavian journalist when other couples throughout Europe suffer a similar fate.”
Starring alongside Morgan as his ex-wife Valerie is Famke Janssen (X-Men & Taken) and Cush Jumbo (The Good Fight & The Good Wife), who portrays journalist Dessie Leonard.
Famke Janssen‘s (How To Get Away With Murder series & X-Men) name is on this post but I am unable to find her connection to this film.
Below are three posts by Morgan on his instagram. These are posts from filming in Norway. The photos we are seeing so far show an angry Morgan a bit cut up and bloody holding a gun. This film is sure to be an action packed thriller.
Morgan has played quite diverse roles such as the dreamy Denny Duquette on Grey’s Anatomy. Recently, he reprised his role as the patriarch John Winchester on Supernatural. He has post production credit of Walkaway Joe which is an action/adventure film. In Peace, Love, and Understanding he played a potential love interest for Catherine Keener’s character. As I read through his credits I realize I have a lot of JDM movies/series to check out.
And then there is Negan, the brutal leader of the Saviors on The Walking Dead. Fans are anxious to find out what changes, if any, will occur with Negan now that he realizes there is nothing out there for him. Personally I hope he does something to redeem himself.
The Walking Dead started filming for Season 10 at the beginning of May. Fans have to wait until October to find out what will happen next!
