Talking Dead announces guests for Fear the Walking Dead premiere
Talking Dead returns on June 2 with a fantastic lineup of Fear the Walking Dead talent including Alycia Debnam-Carey and Colman Domingo.
The countdown to the season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead continues and the latest development is that we now know who will join Chris Hardwick on the Talking Dead couch for the aftershow’s premiere on June 2.
The first Talking Dead guests of the new season will be stars Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia Clark), Colman Domingo (Victor Strand) and Fear the Walking Dead showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg. (Having seen the first four episodes already I can tell you that these are the perfect guests to have on Talking Dead after an explosive season premiere)
This season of Fear the Walking Dead sees the group out on missions trying to help people. It was a plan that came about in the season finale and it serves as a starting point for season 5. The challenge comes in that not everyone wants help, and sometimes trying to help is more difficult than they expected.
Though the missions are Morgan’s idea, Alicia really takes them up as a means to honor her mother Madison. These missions are personal for her and her hope of success lies in being able to say she did it for her mom. Stand sees the missions as a means to make up for past mistakes, and they’re also helping him to improve the way he trusts and works with the other members of the team.
Having Debnam-Carey and Domingo available to talk about the new season will no doubt yield some insight into their characters and what fans can expect in season 5.
Talking Dead will air on June following the season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead at 9pm and the series premiere of NOS4A2 at 10pm. That will put Talking Dead on just after 11pm. It’s a late night, but so worth it.
