Watch – Fear the Walking Dead 501 clip: Alicia’s life hacks

In the latest clip from the Fear the Walking Dead season 5 premiere, Alycia Debnam-Carey proves that Alicia Clark isn’t messing around anymore.

Alycia Debnam-Carey fans get a glimpse of the actress in action in the latest clip from the Fear the Walking Dead season 5 premiere. The clip features a crash site, walkers on the horizon and Alicia and Morgan trying to figure out where they are. Morgan needs more time, so Alicia takes things into her own bloodied hands.

The clip reveals that they are far from their target landing, evidently having crashed somewhere, and Morgan uses a radio to call someone named Logan. Logan wants to know where they are, and Morgan insists that they’re still coming but it’s going to take a bit longer than expected.

It’s an interesting scene that plays out really well in the season premiere, but this little clip is just enough to provide an example of where Alicia is and how much the missions mean to her. She’s ready to fight, bloody hands and all, to make sure they reach their destination.

Prop Master Colin Thurston gave us a tour of the Fear the Walking Dead warehouse full of props and supplies for the show and there were weapons galore. Every weapon is made in-house and there are several copies of each weapon made at the same time. There is a rubber version for fight scenes and then resin and other versions depending on the weapon and scene. Having multiple copies allows things like blood and gore to be added in stages as a fight breaks out and wraps up.

As the season 5 premiere of Fear the Walking Dead looms, there’s no question that this season fans will see an Alicia Clark that has never been seen before. She means business, and she’s not letting anyone get in her way.
