Action

The whole plane crash sequence was intense. Seeing a plane in the middle of the apocalypse isn’t something we have seen yet. Alicia’s season 5 debut, emerging from the plane wielding a propeller prop like Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, is something fans have been waiting for. Even her bloodied hands couldn’t stop her from kicking some major walker butt.

The plane crash introduced us to brothers Max and Dylan, and later their pragmatic sister Annie. It also set the stage for Luciana’s injury and Al’s big discovery later on.

Fans have been hearing about planes in season 5 since the first trailer was revealed at WonderCon, and now we’re learning that there are in fact TWO planes in season 5. Given that the show is so much farther behind The Walking Dead it’s still possible for things like functional planes to be lying around. We don’t know where the first plane came from but we know who has the other one, namely Daniel Salazar, and clearly that means we’ll be seeing Salazar very soon.

Of all the moments in the episode, seeing Alicia Clark killing walkers with reckless abandon was pretty damn cool. Alycia Debnam-Carey fans have been wanting to see Alicia Clark shine, and she was brilliant in “Here to Help.” We also got a glimpse of Alicia stepping up to lead the group. If that’s a sign of things to come then we’re all in.

Next, is Logan a villain?
