Fear the Walking Dead season 5 premiere recap: Here to Help
Alicia is outside clearing the walkers. Morgan finds her. She says they could have died today. They almost lost Luci, and Logan took what they have at the denim factory, and the kids ran away. You can’t help if you’re dead. Morgan says you can’t make up for the past if you don’t try. She reminds him of what Madison did to make them survive, and he tells her that they can’t give up because that’s what they need. He wants to keep looking for the kids, and try until they want help. “It’s not supposed to be easy,” Morgan says. They have done things, and so these missions should be hard. He reminds her that they’re still there and they have to keep going. She reluctantly agrees.
Strand watches the Skidmark tape by himself. Al is there talking to someone who has a whole warehouse full of supplies. The man who has them: Daniel Salazar. Outside Wendell asks when they will get the plane. Strand says nothing.
Al returns to the crash site on her own at night. It’s raining. She pulls the mask off the pinned walker and kills him, then she takes her camera and films him. There’re wiring in his suit, and she starts pulling items from his pockets. Inside a pouch is a paper with three rings on it. Where have we seen those rings before…?
The letters LRM are on the paper. She finds maps with the symbol on them. She grabs the radio to call Morgan, telling him that she’s back at the plane, and he says that they were going to wait until the next day. She says she was right, and that there is a story there.
Suddenly another masked figure comes up behind her and tazes her. She passes out while Morgan calls to her.
Yes, Al, there is a story here. A big one.
