Michael Cudlitz shared a fun photo from filming his season 10 episode of The Walking Dead, and for fans it’s like a reunion of Abraham, Daryl and Negan.

Filming for season 10 of The Walking Dead is underway and that means behind the scenes glimpses of all the action. In the most recent behind the scenes photos, director Michael Cudlitz shares a picture with pals Norman Reedus and a smiling Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and there’s a lot to be learned from this photo.

Michael Cudlitz is in Atlanta directing episode 10×03 of The Walking Dead, which is exciting in and of itself. When Cudlitz shares a photo from set, it’s even more exciting.

Negan fans will immediately notice what Jeffrey Dean Morgan is wearing. It looks a lot like what he has been seen wearing in his prison cell throughout season 9. Either clothing is in short supply in Alexandria, or Negan is back in his cell. It’s more than likely that Negan doesn’t have a large wardrobe so he’s left wearing the clothes he wore in the cell.

There’s also a very good possibility that if both Reedus and Morgan are on set for this photo it means that they have scenes together. When Daryl arrived back in Alexandria with everyone in the season 9 finale he didn’t know that Negan was out of his cell and that he rescued Judith. Even with the act of heroism, Negan being free to move about won’t sit well with Daryl given they history. However, if Michonne gives her blessing then there likely isn’t much Daryl can do about it.

On the other hand, if the Whisperers return and it’s a matter of saving Alexandria, even Daryl has to agree that having Negan as an ally is better than having him as an enemy. Given Negan’s inclination for living in comfort, there’s no way he’s going to side with the Whisperers and their way of life and Negan is intent on protecting Judith and RJ, so he will be fighting the good fight for now.
