Fear The Walking Dead returned with an action filled season 5 premiere and fans had a lot to say about it.
Fear The Walking Dead season 5 kicked off last night with the premiere episode “Here To Help”. The episode started with a fiery plane crash that set a high bar for the rest of the episode and the episode delivered a consistently exciting episode. If the rest of the season matches the quality of the premiere it’s going to be a very intense season.
When season 4 left off the group was planning on inhabiting an old denim factory and using that as a base from which to help people in the area who were struggling. They were on a mission to help someone when the plane they were using crash landed near the site where the person said that they were in trouble. Things went downhill from there.
Luciana was seriously injured and the group barely escaped all the walkers drawn to the wreckage by the noise and the flames. But Morgan and Alicia fought off the walkers and got the group to the safety of a truck stop where they were able to help a badly injured Luciana. But the person who lured them there was just getting them out of the way so he could take over the factory.
Strand, Charlie, and the twins need to mount a rescue mission and on their way to procure a plane it was revealed the owner of that plane is Daniel Salazer, which means Strand is in for an awkward reunion with the guy he shot in the face at the end of season 3.
It was also revealed that the mysterious group who took Rick Grimes is in the area and at the end of the episode one of the members of that group attacked Al, who stumbled onto some information about them. With big reveals and big action sequences it’s not a surprise that the reactions were big too:

Excellent start to this season of #FearTWD! Between Daniel returning, Alicia being a leader, the mysterious symbol related to Rick, and the radiation threat, I have a feeling that this is going to be a crazy season!
