2. Skidmark

When the plane crashed, Althea tried to contact Strand to let him know that they needed to find a plane to rescue them, so she told Strand to find a tape labeled “Skidmark.” Little did Strand know, the tape would reveal that Daniel Salazar is the man with the plane.

Fans haven’t seen Salazar since the end of season 3 after he’d been shot in the face and presumed dead after the dam blew up. Naturally Strand has an uphill battle in front of him since he was the one who shot Salazar in the face and now he needs to find him and ask him for a favor.

The only way Strand can reach the rest of the group is with a plane, and the only way he can get the plan is to work out some kind of arrangement with a man who has no reason to do him any favors. And let’s face it – it’s not like Strand is asking for a car. He’s asking for a plane. Anyone with a plane won’t be too likely to give it up under any circumstance. Strand is in for a huge challenge and it doesn’t help that he’s the only hope the rest of the group has.
