1. Al’s Discovery and Abduction
As soon as Al discovered that her camera had been dislodged from its case she was frantic to find it, even though she was supposed to be looking for a hacksaw to help free Luciana. That led to her first encounter with the armored walker.
Ever the tenacious journalist, Al wasn’t going to leave the story at the crash site. She wanted to go back and see what his dead was, so naturally she left in the middle of the night, alone, to investigate. And what a story there was. The walker had maps with him that bore the same symbol as the helicopter that saved Rick.
Al was in the middle of telling Morgan about her discovery when another man in the same armor appeared and stunned Al. Morgan could tell something happened to her, but there’s no way for him to know what it was.

Annie told Morgan that they had no idea where they landed, and it’s true. They have found themselves in the middle of a strange land with radiation signs, armored walkers, walkers being used as roadblocks and three kids who are out there on their own. But something bigger is happening here, something that will no doubt have a ripple effect throughout The Walking Dead universe.
