Fear the Walking Dead 502 synopsis: The Hurt That Will Happen

Fear the Walking Dead continues with season 5 episode 2 “The Hurt That Will Happen.” Here’s your synopsis of episode 502, airing June 9, 2019.

There was a lot to take in during the season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead. This week’s episode continues where it left off, following Al as she’s kidnapped by people in fancy kevlar suits and Strand comes to terms with having to go see an old friend (and foe) for help.

Last week’s episode featured nonstop action and quite a few new faces. We learned that the group had to commandeer a plane to fly over some mountains to complete a mission. Later, we learn that Logan was the one they were trying to help but he ended up catfishing them and luring them far away from the denim factory because he was Clayton’s business partner and he wants his factory back. He never wanted their help to begin with, and that was a blow to the group’s morale.

Fans also met siblings Annie, Dylan and Max. These kids have clearly been through a lot so far and they’re not willing to trust anyone, especially not people who come offering help with no strings attached because who does that?

Eagle-eyed Al noticed something about one of the walkers at the crash site and went back to investigate, only to find herself tazed and knocked out. Right before she was attacked she found that the pinned walker had a symbol on his suit and on his uniform, and it’s clear that he was involved in something. People don’t just go around wearing suits like that. Given that the person who tazed her was in a similar suit, it’s safe to say that the former reporter has stumbled onto a huge story.

“Morgan and Alicia meet a survivor and learn of a grave new walker threat. Meanwhile, the mission is put to the test when one of their own goes missing. Elsewhere, Strand makes contact.”
