Alicia lets her go, but she’s not giving the gun back just yet. Grace needs Morgan to take his clothes off. Alicia gives him a look.

Back at the truck Morgan takes a shower. Grace gives him instructions of how to shower, including taking off his wedding ring. She gives him new clothes, including a “Don’t mess with Texas” shirt.

Grace offers to help them look for Al as soon as she takes care of the corpse. She studies the dosimeter that was around his neck and explains that they measure radiation. If they see one on the dead they should go the other way. Grace realizes that they were in the plane crash and asks that they take her back to the crash site so she can see if any of the dead has dosimeters. If so, then Alicia and the group could be contaminated, too.

John calls through on the radio that the truck gave out so they’ll be walking from there. ALicia warns him about the irradiated walkers. “Boy this place just keeps getting friendlier and friendlier, don’t it?” he muses. June says that’s why they need to be there. He finds a sign that matches the van that the kids were driving and so they head off in that direction.

Camp Cackleberry has seen better days for sure. June calls for the kids and says they want to be found. She tells John that she used to wake up hoping he would come for her. Part of it was not wanting to think he wasn’t alive out there. Inside the camp they find bullet casings and a repaired fence, suggesting that they might have won the battle. Upon further exploration they find cabins full of walkers.

Strand tries to reach someone on the radio. The signal isn’t strong enough to reach them. Salazar wants to know why Strand wasn’t on the plane and he says that it’s because the runway had filled with walkers and someone needed to clear a path. Salazar doesn’t buy it. He reminds Strand of the dam explosion and being shot in the face, and Strand offers an apology, insisting that he’s not the same as he was in Mexico. Salazar thinks some men can change. Strand says he’s trying to make up for what he did in the past and he hopes Salazar can believe him. Salazar offers to try the radio.
