Fear the Walking Dead 503 synopsis: Humbug’s Gulch

Fear the Walking Dead continues with season 5 episode 3 “Humbug’s Gulch.” Here’s your synopsis of episode 503, airing June 16.

The hits keep on coming on Fear the Walking Dead. After last week’s episode “The Hurt That Will Happen” the mystery of the nuclear walkers was resolved, but there’s clearly something much darker happening all around the survivors. The road blocks and eviscerated walkers and hanging walker heads suggest that someone is trying to send a message to the group about not being welcome there.

Al is still missing and Strand’s hopes to borrow Salazar’s plane was shut down as Salazar reminded his old acquaintance that every time he tries to help people, he hurts people. Without the plane it’s going to be tough reaching everyone, and from the sound of it they need help. Strand needs to figure out a plan and put it into action soon.

We haven’t seen what’s happening back at the denim factory since the season premiere so at this point it’s unclear what’s going on with Sarah, Wendell and Charlie. Logan is probably settled in at this point with his crew, and taking the factory back will be harder as time passes.

This week’s episode sees the group still separated as June and John are forced to hide from an as yet to be revealed threat. Is it the head hangers? Morgan and Alicia encounter their own threat they must deal with. Annie was right: They have no idea where they landed.
