11. Negan and Daryl

When Daryl came back to Alexandria at the end of season 9 he had no idea that Negan was “free”. There’s no way that’s going to sit well with him. Though Negan saved Judith’s life, Daryl won’t be ready to give the former Savior leader a pardon any time soon. We’re looking for any signs of what happened between them in the trailer.

10. Negan and Carol

Negan has been around The Walking Dead since the end of season 6 and yet Carol has never met him. Carol returned to Alexandria at the end of season 9 and it’s time for these two to finally meet. While she knows full well all of the horrible things he has done, it’s possible that Negan’s desire to protect Judith at all costs will win him a reprieve in her eyes. It’s also very likely that Carol will see Negan as an asset in the fight against the Whisperers. No matter how things pan out in season 10, it would be nice to finally see these two together on screen in the trailer.

9. Negan and Judith

Michonne knows Negan is willing to risk his life for Judith. She knows that her daughter fully understands the horrible things he has done, and she also knows what kind of a threat the Whisperers pose. We’re guessing that Judith will be able to spend time with Negan in season 10 if for no other reason than he will keep her safe and she will keep him in line. Here’s to hoping that the season 10 trailer features a glimpse of these two together.
