8. The Whisperers

Alpha and her followers didn’t bother trying to ride out the winter storm. They went South for the winter but they probably won’t stay there for long. Cold wet weather is no good for tanned hide, after all, but wearing skins in the humid South isn’t the best either. Heading back to Virginia makes the most sense.

Upon their return the will no doubt find that Ezekiel and his people cross through Whisperer territory as they fled the Kingdom, and this will be problematic given Alpha’s warning. Right now Alpha thinks her warning was enough to keep anyone from her territory, so what will happen when she finds that the Kingdom is gone and the only road to Hilltop leads across her land?

We know a battle is brewing because there’s no way that Michonne, Daryl and Carol will allow Alpha to live after what she did, so let’s hope that the trailer reveals a few clues about what’s coming.
