6. Rising Leaders

With Ezekiel dealing with his grief and the Hilltop in an uncertain state, now is a good time for the rise of new leaders with new visions for the future. It would be great to see who has taken the lead in the season 10 trailer.

Aaron, Rosita, Magna and Yumiko would all make terrific leaders and allowing them a chance to take control could help fight the Whisperers thanks to a new perspective and a newfound sense of camaraderie. Aaron had been working with Jesus on the down low before Jesus’ untimely death, so perhaps he will be able to step up and help the residents of the Hilltop in their time of need.

Magna’s group is particularly interesting because they would all make terrific leaders, and the things they have seen over the course of their experience could be very helpful in making sure that the communities are protected from other threats.

Then again, there’s also a chance that Maggie will take charge once again if (or when) she returns.

There’s also a chance that Negan might play some role in leading the group. While he’ll never be a leader thanks to his checkered past, he does have valuable insight into how to run a community and he could help in an advisory sense should the need arise. It would not be a popular thing to do, but when it comes to the Whisperers it’s going to be all hands on deck.
