Strand can’t believe Salazar just gave her the instruments but Charlie says that he didn’t want to hurt them. Strand calls Salazar on the radio and apologizes to him, telling him that he hopes this isn’t about what happened at the dam. Salazar says this is all about Strand’s lies, and how he kept him from Ofelia. He wants Strand to admit the truth to Sarah, Wendell and Charlie. Strand tells the story of how he lied about Ofelia to get something, and how when they finally reconnected she was gone. Salazar says he never got a chance to tell his daughter what he wanted her to know. Charlie calls and asks what it was but Salazar says it doesn’t matter. She doesn’t want to leave him because they have been looking for people to help and here he is.

Morgan and Alicia find Max and Annie before they are killed by walkers. Annie says Morgan still doesn’t know what’s going on, and suddenly a bunch of kids emerge from the woods, armed to the teeth. “It’s not just us,” she says.

Salazar leads the herd down the road as Strand apologizes. He wants to show Salazar he’s not that man anymore. Salazar says he wants them to leave, but Sarah gets on the radio and says her brother has been itching to let down the hammer for a while. Sarah drives up in the SWAT van and Wendell gets the guns ready. They don’t fire. Salazar hides under the van as Strand drives up with the plane. “Don’t give up on me yet, Daniel,” he says.

Strand jumps out and calls the walkers over to him. The herd moves toward him, leaving the SWAT vehicle alone. Strand fires up the engines of the plane and the noise draws the walkers toward him. They walk into the propellers, covering the plane in blood and guts while Wendell and Sarah watch. When the plane runs out of gas the walkers are gone, but so is the hope of using the plane to rescue everyone.

Strand helps Salazar and the men shake hands. “I’m not going to shoot you in the face,” Salazar tells him.
