Fear the Walking Dead 504 recap: Skidmark

Luciana uses the tow truck to raise the radio tower. She thanks Dylan for helping them. Annie calls on the radio and tells her that they were telling the truth, and that they might be able to help them. Max tells Annie that they can lower their weapons. Morgan thanks them, and then asks about the people who came there before, because they might be the ones who took Al. Max says they will help find Al, but they can’t leave. Morgan realizes that the people at the camp were their parents. The realization hits Alicia hard as Annie realizes that they have been at the camp, too.

Salazar uses another calendar page to cook his meal, but this time he has a bigger can for his guests. He is packing a bag when Charlie asks what he was going to tell Ofelia. “That every day brings a chance to start over. A chance to get it right. Something tells me you need to hear that, too.” She asks where he’s going and he says there’s a reason he stayed so long. He needs to do something. She offers to keep him company but he tells her that he set the record player up for her, and asks her to watch out for Skidmark. He tells them to feel free to use the warehouse as much as they need, with the exception of a cigar that an old friend gave him for when things get better. When he looks back he sees Strand petting Skidmark at the table with everyone.

Luciana tries calling Strand, who gets the message. She asks about the plane, and he says the engines were damaged while trying to help someone. Dylan sees Luciana’s pain and asks about the pilot in The Little Prince. She says he fixed the plane so he could fly home. Dylan says that’s what she should do, too.

Max and Annie show Morgan and Alicia where the camp was, saying there were two helicopter people there that they saw, but there could be more. Alicia pulls Morgan aside and says that the kids must know this isn’t safe. Morgan says they know, because he had the same problem leaving his wife behind. His son couldn’t kill her either, and that’s when he lost him. Jenny and Duane. Alicia

As they walk, Max tells everyone to stay down. There’s a helicopter overhead and it flies off in the distance. “Those people, they came in that,” Annie says. And why are they leaving? “Maybe they got what they came for,” she says.
