Althea’s location teased in preview videos for Fear the Walking Dead 505

Sneak Peek video: “Making Contact”
The video shared on the official YouTube channel of AMC kicks off with Althea leaving a military-style camouflage tent. The first thing she notices is a helicopter with the same three-ring symbol on it that fans saw when Rick was being whisked away with Anne in season 9 of The Walking Dead.
She immediately gets in the helicopter and tries to start it. However, the fuel gauge falls all the way to empty upon her attempt and the engine fails to turn over.
Althea notices a radio in the helicopter and attempts to contact Morgan and Alicia but gets no response from them. Instead, she hears a garbled voice from the other end while a woman with a gun instructs her to exit the helicopter as the scene comes to an end.
ANALYSIS: The first thing that came to my mind during that clip is whether Althea is an A or a B. At this point, it has to be thought that she is going to be one of the test subjects taken by the helicopter group on The Walking Dead, much like what happened with Heath and Rick. If this is the case, it would give fans of Fear the Walking Dead a reason to tune into the Rick Grimes movies when they air…and that is something AMC could really benefit from. However, it would also be disappointing not to see her reunited with the group looking for her right now.
