4. (Maybe) Working things out with Ezekiel

Seeing Carol happy is a rarity. With all the pain she’s gone through in nine seasons of the show, it is a bit shocking there is anything that can put a smile on her face at all anymore. But there was one time she seemed happiest of all.

As the “queen” of the Kingdom, Carol genuinely enjoyed spending time with her new family. Ezekiel, Henry, Jerry, and others felt like home to her after she felt like she didn’t really belong anywhere else.

The question right now regarding relationships is whether or not Carol and Ezekiel are done forever…or if this is just a temporary separation for the two and they will get back together when they find themselves.

One thing we can assume is that the two will at least remain friends and care about each other. Even if they don’t get together again romantically, there will always be a lot of respect between them and a connection they will share forever.
