2. Taking care of Dog

Many new characters were introduced to the world of The Walking Dead in season 9, but very few captured the hearts of fans like Dog did. The canine has a strong affinity for Daryl, and not only follows commands but seems to take pride in protecting his human friend.

Let’s be honest for a moment here and mention how animals struggle to find a way to survive the zombie apocalypse. Pets like Shiva, Tabitha, Violet, and other animals have all met their end on the show, and viewers have to be worried that Dog’s days are numbered.

However, things may be different with Dog. The hope is that the canine can be a part of the show for many years to come. For that to happen, Daryl and those around him may have to pitch in to make sure not to put the pup in too dangerous of situations.

Dog and Daryl make a dynamic duo who can go on scouting missions, track bad guys, and re-route the undead. The value of these two is quite high…and they can be even better if they have a third individual around to help them.
